The excursion
Experience a full day at sea heading to Giglio Island aboard a RIB with Nello, a skipper with a lifetime of sea experience. Departure is from the Torre di Albegna pier in Albinia. During the excursion, stops are planned at Cala dell’Allume, Spiaggia delle Caldane, and Cala Cupa, with time to swim and snorkel in the island’s waters. There is also a stop at Porto del Giglio, where you can stroll among colorful houses and shops and discover the village through Nello’s stories.
Onboard are available mask, snorkel, fins, and thermal shirts for snorkeling, as well as drinks and snacks. You will be accompanied by Nello and Cristina, an expert snorkeler. Bringing a packed lunch is recommended.
The activity lasts the entire day and takes place in open sea: it is suitable for those with basic swimming skills and a good relationship with the sea. It is also recommended for children from 7 years old, considering the duration and navigation. Participation should be carefully considered in case of seasickness, especially when traveling with children. A hat and sunscreen may be useful; the RIB is equipped with a canopy.
Dogs are not allowed on shared excursions. Before departure, a brief briefing and registration of required data for insurance purposes are scheduled. About 24 hours before, you will receive an SMS with departure details, recommended parking, and meeting point: please verify that the phone number provided in the confirmation is correct. The itinerary may be subject to changes or cancellations depending on weather conditions.
