The excursion
Experience Monte Argentario from a special perspective by driving a quad along its panoramic road. The route crosses the Mediterranean scrub and offers views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, cliffs, and the islands of Giglio, Giannutri, and Argentarola. The tours depart from the former Cavallaro Parking and last about 3 hours.
The morning tour starts at 10:00 AM and covers 21 km. It is designed for a relaxed experience, suitable for everyone. The itinerary reaches Isola Rossa, continues towards the village of Porto Ercole with a stop at Isola Felice for a small snack, and passes by Forte Filippo before returning.
The afternoon tour starts at 3:00 PM and covers 31 km, with a more dynamic pace. After the panoramic road and Isola Rossa, it reaches the Antennas of the Mountain and the Convent of the Passionist Friars, from which you can see the Orbetello lagoon. A snack break on the beach at the Cala Galera establishment is planned; until its opening, expected in early June, the stop takes place at the convent.
Both tours include a break with tasting of cold cuts and local wine, curated by Il Gambero Rosso. In August, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, a sunset tour is also offered, lasting about 2 hours and 30 minutes, with a sunset aperitif and availability of 4 quads per outing; reservation is mandatory.
Twenty-four hours before departure, you will receive an SMS with details, recommended parking, and meeting points. Please check that the phone number in the confirmation email is correct.
