The excursion
Experience fishing tourism in Talamone with Paolo, a local fisherman, aboard the Sirena. The sea outing lasts about five hours and combines maritime tradition, nature, and taste: during the navigation, Paolo demonstrates and explains the traditional fishing techniques of the area and introduces sustainable fishing.
Departure is from the port of Talamone. The schedule is set at the time of booking. During the experience, it is possible to visit coves such as Cala di Forno or Collelungo, with time to swim in the sea waters. Visiting the coves and swimming are presented as optional parts of the excursion.
On board, breakfast with products from the Antico Forno di Talamone and a brunch with cold cuts, cheeses, and tomatoes are provided. Access to the minibar with juices and water is also included. The catch of the day remains the property of the activity; those who wish can enjoy it at Paolo's restaurant in Fonteblanda.
The experience is recommended for those with at least basic swimming skills and a good relationship with the sea. Due to its educational aspects, it is also recommended for children aged seven and above. For sun protection, a hat and sunscreen are useful; the inflatable boat is equipped with a canopy covering its entire length.
