The excursion
In the heart of the Maremma Viterbese, the Laghetto del Pellicone offers a suggestive setting for an excursion among water, nature, and history. The experience takes place in the Vulci Archaeological Natural Park and involves navigating aboard a single-seat inflatable raft or an inflatable canoe, propelled with a paddle. During the outing, a swim in the lake is also planned; at the end, participants relax at Casaletto Mengarelli with an aperitif based on typical local products. The total duration is about three hours, aperitif included.
The excursion is accompanied by an Environmental Hiking Guide and includes the entrance ticket to the Vulci Park, the paddle, life jacket, and RCI insurance. It is presented as an activity suitable for families, couples, and groups of friends. For children, an age over 6 years and a good relationship with water are recommended.
The time and meeting point are communicated by the guide; those who book are contacted 24 hours before departure. The schedule indicates the activity takes place in the afternoon, or on request if the guide is available. Payment is made on site, in cash. The individual 2026 season has ended.
