The excursion
Two horseback rides allow you to explore different environments of the Maremma, departing from Località Parrina. The duration varies depending on the chosen route: about 3 hours for the lagoon and 90 or 120 minutes for the Parrina Estate.
The lagoon ride takes place exclusively in the morning. Adults need some previous horseback riding experience; this ride is not recommended for first-time riders. Minors aged 12 and over must be experienced and able to ride independently. The route runs along the natural reserve of the WWF Patanella Oasis and reaches the Lagoon Beach, where it is possible to ride in the water. From September 10th, this outing is guaranteed only with at least 4 participants.
The ride in the Parrina Estate crosses vineyards and olive groves of the historic property of the Marchesi Antinori. It is also suitable for beginners; children from 8 years old can participate, provided they have already taken lessons or participated in several horseback rides. In high season, outings take place exclusively in the afternoon; during the rest of the year, morning rides are also available.
The activity is a walk, not a gallop: only the guide can authorize participants to gallop, assessing their abilities. If you do not receive a callback within 24 hours, the booking is considered confirmed. Payment is in cash on site.
