The excursion
Experience an excursion between nature and tradition in the Maremma Park, aboard a carriage drawn by two horses and equipped with an assisted motor. The route crosses the Uccellina Park, with the possibility of spotting wild animals such as wild boars, fallow deer, and foxes, and reaches the Collelungo beach, where a stop is planned with free time to relax and swim.
You will be accompanied by Enrico, the coachman, who is also an Environmental Guide and tells the history, flora, and fauna of the area. The tasting varies depending on the shift: in the morning it takes place at Podere del Cocchiere and includes panzanella, a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, salad, grilled sausage, water, and wine; at sunset it is held on the beach dunes and offers panzanella, a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, melon, water, and wine.
The departure is from Località la Spergolaia, in Alberese. The tour lasts about 3 hours and 30 minutes; the morning tour ends with lunch at the coachman’s, while the sunset shift varies depending on the departure time. The activity is available all year round with a minimum of 6 participants. The carriage has limited seats: contact us before or after booking to check actual availability, because booking alone does not guarantee that seats are free. Payment is made exclusively in cash at departure.
